When we returned to Nelson from Vancouver Island in 2023 we decided we wanted a new or

newer home. We had lived in two, one hundred and twenty year old houses, and wanted a

change. Our real estate agent alerted us to a small development on Creek Street and we ended up

buying one of the units. We can’t tell you how much we love living in a new home! Everything

is square, filled with light and so spacious. We could not have planned the layout and design

better. All the comforts we wanted is here. There are little things to be addressed with various

components, not unusual in a new build, and Al is always doing his best to get the contractors

back to tweak whatever needs to addressed. Overall, we are both very happy with our home and

would recommend Steadfast Builders and Al wholeheartedly.

I contacted Al, owner of Steadfast Builders Ltd for a quote on a carport. He came out with detailed plans within a week. I hired him and it was the best decision I ever made. He and Harlen showed up every day on time and had the project done within 2 weeks. They really are steadfast workers and so organized. The clean up after was stellar. Not a nail was found anywhere. No spec of scrap wood or debris anywhere. I would hire them again in a second for any other building job.
